as ur mother has diabetes
,u have high chance of getting it .
but if u want to prevent it ,u can
first of all u have to leave sedentary life style.
avoid sugar containing items
give up smoking
,alcohol and other habit if u have.
do regular exercise like swimming ,skipping ,jogging etc.
do it atleast 5 days a wk
do regular yoga and pranayam to beat stress
avoid junk food ,fast food and cold drinks
do check ur blood pressure and sugar every 3 month.
if u feel any odd symptoms
be regular in ur sleep .diet and exercise as these are main factor to cause and to prevent diabetes.
try to reduce ur weight if u r obese
