What Percent Of People Who Get Mono Have Elevated Liver Levels?

My daughter just got diagnosed with mono. Her liver count is elevated and this really worries me. What percent of people who get mono also have elevated liver levels? I m just really worried. I know we follow up in three to five days with our PCP to check her level. Just wondered I d you see this happen much.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
I can understand from your history that your daughter is suffering from infectious mononucleosis and the liver enzymes are elevated.
Infectious mononucleosis is a viral infection characterized by fever, enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, rash and organomegaly.
The liver and/ or the spleen can enlarge and cause discomfort.
The liver enlargement can lead to elevated liver enzymes.
The treatment of infectious mononucleosis will clear away the symptoms of the disease.
You need to consult your doctor for prescription of medication for the condition.
You can regularly check the levels of liver enzymes.
