What Options Are Available For Abortion?

i had safe sex with my girlfriend just a day after her period got over.she had periods on 15th june morning & we had protectd sex on 19th.i used condom. but i did cum when i was inside her. we checked condom leakage after sex. we poured water into condom to see whether there is any leakage or not. there was a drop of water formed at the tip of the condom . i cleaned it & checked again, i even i squezed condom to check whether there is any tiny small hole but it didnt leak afterwards.its been almost 31days since we had sex. lil worried about my girlfriend.we both are college students & 21years old.Is it legal for us to visit doctor.will he tell our parents or make us busted? if she gets pregnant what are the option to avoid having baby, abortion pills or abortion? what are their charges. Is it legal for us to take those pills or get abortion done. There are hardly any symptoms visible for pregnancy, jst figured out that her breast has expanded a big & she also told that her bra
are now seems to be tight for her & she has got pimples over her face. please reply me soon . lil worried about her. Its Important & urgent

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

First of all, you have to confirm the pregnancy by USG. For medical abortion pill usage, it should be intrauterine and less than 63 days.

It is legal if you can do under the observation of a gynecologist after proper guidance. Consultancy process is confidential process and your identity will be kept secret. Do not use abortion pill at home as self treatment.

Methodologically, 600 mg mifepristone orally should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally by gynecologist after 48 hour. If required, another dose should be given after 6 to 8 hour.

Abortion process will be complete in 4 to 5 days as bleeding will stop. Confirmation of completeness of abortion is done by USG after 14 days for safe practice to avoid complication.

Rest for 48 hour, analgesic, healthy diet with iron and multivitamin supplements and proper pelvic hygiene should be maintained. Use 'i pill' and contraceptives like safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dholariya Sagar Jayantilal
