What Medicines Will Help In Reducing Pain Due To Shoulder Dislocation?

My grand mum dislocated her shoulder a couple of hours ago and we can get a doctor to set it only tomorrow. She has been prescribed Enzoflam for the pain but it doesn't seem to be very effective. She needed a second tablet in under 4 hours. Is there anything we can do to alleviate her pain till tomorrow?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.

The best treatment currently for her would be to alternate with Tramodol and Enzoflam medication every 3 to 4 hours.
Both these medications are from a different class and don't interact with each other.

Just watch out for sedation and vomiting caused by Tramodol. ....which if does happen , will require dose reduction.
Also take an antacid like Esmoprazole .
Do not take medicines empty stomach.

I hope my advice has helped.
Good luck
