What Medicine To Give For The Fever Of A Child?
My 4 year old child was camping this weekend and it was very cold. Yesterday when he came home he had a moderate fever and was extremely tired. All day today he also has had a fever, he is irritable and still tired. Should I take him to the doctor? Do you have any suggestions?

Hello. I just read through your question. Unless your son has a specific complaint (ear pain, throat pain, etc...), you can wait 2-3 days before considering taking him to the doctor. Often these things will resolve on their own. In the meantime, you can treat his fever with a fever reducer when needed. Additionally, make sure he stays well hydrated. This will make him more comfortable.
