Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
The best way to identify the cause of allergy is to find out what precipitates it and the best treatment is to avoid the cause if possible. Often you may not be able to spot the allergen by yourself. In such cases skin test with various known allergens and blood tests to detect antibodies to food and other allergens are available. Till the allergen is identified and avoided, you may require to take an antihistamine like Incid MD. If the allegen is something unavoidable in your life, it is possible to desensitize you for that allergen.
Best wishes,
Dr. Noble Zachariah
