What Medicine Should I Take For Frequent Urge To Urinate In Chilly Weather?

Hello Dr, I am 65 yrs old. I am on a visit to newjersey USA.7 years back I was operated for prostrate enlargement in india.Now due to chilly weather I am finding it very difficult with frequent urination. At least 7 to 10 times at night..I will be staying in NJ for another one and half months.what is the medicine I should take. And any restriction on food Maniam YYYY@YYYY

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You got operated for prostate enlargement 7 years back. now you are suffering with frequency of urine in the night.
The frequency of urine in the night may be due to the hypertension, or urinary tract infection, etc. If it is more in the day as well as night, it may either be the diabetis.The cause may be the excess of cold atmosphere.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime 200mg, B.D.I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
