Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Shortness of breath on activity can be related to a number of different causes but with a history of diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease, the most likely causes are: (1) fluid retention in the lungs due to either the kidneys or the heart.(2)ishemic heart disease- this is where the heart is not getting enough blood to work

Her doctor may consider an ECG and echo to take a further look at the function of the heart, a chest xray may also be necessary.

She needs tight control of her diabetes and hypertension.

I hope this helps
