What Medication Is Suggested For Orthoritis And Hypertension?
sir , mu father is 72 years old and is suffering from orthorits and hyper tension since last 10 years and now he is complaining about pain every time cries and in between we start talking something about his pension or property details he forgets pain, and he also does not like to talk to anybody, what should we do...
Hello and thanks for your question. With hypertension, he should not take anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen because that can elevate blood pressure. He can take acetaminophen for osteoarthritis pain and that will not elevate the blood pressure. If he is having so much pain that he is crying with it he may need a stronger pain medication so please try to get him to visit a doctor soon.
