What measures can I take to avoid tanning of skin in summer ?

Skin of my arms has turned black i.e. discoloration due to it i don t wear half sleeved tshirts in summer..please help me make them look toned and of the same color..i don t know if it s hyper pigmentation or something else?

Normally in people arms are darker than the rest of the body. You can apply sun screen lotions, protect them from the sun and also try whitening creams. Bleaching also helps upto an extent. Whatever u do i suggest u apply a lil and then go ahead to prevent hypersenstivity reaction

Hi Usman,
Welcome to HCM.
Try using a sunscreen with SPF30 which will reduce and also avoid skin darkening due to exposure to sun.Skin darkening happens due to excess melanin production due harmfull uv rays. Hyper pigmentation can be due to various other reasons too, consult a dermatologist for further management.
