What Is Your Opinion About Low Testosterone Levels, Elevated PSA And Atypical Cells Found During Prostate Biopsy?

MY HUSBAND IS 63 WITH ELEVATED PSA FROM 4.3 TO 4.6,SEVERAL PROSTRATE BIOPSY REVEALED ONLY ATYPICAL CELLS. NOW HIS TESTERONE LEVAL IS LOW AND HE IS SYMPTAMOTIC FOR LOW TESTOSTERONE AND HE WANTS TO TREAT THIS LOW TOSTERONE BUT HIS UROLOGIST IS LEARY DUE TO THIS ATYPICAL CELLS. WHAT DO YOU THINK

Hi welcome to HCM....

You have high PSA level in report. ....

Here your prostate report shows atypical cells ....Sometime chronic inflammation also can lead atypical change in cells ..

But here if you have done biopsy and histopathology examination done than it can be clearly said that wether it is inflammatory , benign or malignant lesion.....
If needed IHC marker also can be useful ..

If malignancy there , it should be removed. ..
(Prostatectomy needed for that )

If found suitable than after than testosterone can be given....
