What Is Your Opinion About Baby Having A Cluster Of Lumps Under Skin Between Ear And Collarbone?

Hello.... my 8-1/2 month old baby has ...what seems to be a small cluster (2 or 3) of lumps under the skin on his neck between his ear and collarbone. 1 of these is approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and the others are smaller... he had a low grade fever a few days ago and has a very slight cough. We took him to dr and she felt them and said it was most likely a swollen gland... im trying to not doubt her but I feel like theyre slightly bigger now and not as soft as they were when we first found them 4 to 5 days ago.... should we worry or get a second opinion. ... thanks im freaking out

Hi...Please do not freak out. You need not worry. What your pediatrician asid is 10% right. It is called lymphadenopathy. You need to worry only if they are rapidly increasing in size and along with it there is anemia or excessive tiredness. As out now be rest assured.
