What Is Your Opinion About A 21 Year Old Being Prescribed Novelon Tablets For Prolonged, Continuous Bleeding During Periods?

I'm ashwini 21 years old,from part 6 or 7 years i had regular periods.October 17 i had my last regular periods.November 30th i got my periods this time,first few days were fine ,but now from 7 days I'm having excessive flow every day,i am changing 2 pads in 2 hours put the rest of the day is fine -no bleeding..during the 2 hours i have lots of clots.

Due to this i showed a doctor near my house.,she scanned and told the lining is pretty thick n this will happen,she has asked me to take Novelon tablet for 3 months 21 days each month..Is this the proper treatment for my age??I'm really afraid can u PLEASE PLEaSe guide me in the right way ?? Will i get my regular periods from next month??will i be normal??

yesterday i started the treatment ,i have taken 1 tablet

This is the right treatment so please continue the medications which will help regilarize your periods ma'am. Do not worry, and keep track of your menstrual cycle. I would also advise a check on your hemoglobin levels as the excessive bleeding could have resulted in anemia.
