What Is This Symptom Of Neck Pain With Mild Sore Throat ?

I am 74, female, have neck pain both sides from base of ear down neck for 3 days with mild sore throat (hurts if drink soda). Jaws hurt to chew. Do I wait a few more days or go to Dr.? Healthy otherwise. First experience like this.

You probably have a pharyngeal infection. Do you have any headaches or vision disturbances. You need to rule out Temporal arteritis in this case. You may take the OTC Antibiotics like Levofloxacin if you have a sore throat and mild fever. If it does not resolve in 3-5 days, kindly see a Physician.
