What Is The Weaning Procedure For Abilify?

2 years ago, as diagnosed, my son was schizophrenia, had been tried for many mediciens, but no much help. Year 2016, he started taking Abilify 10 mg, it worked very good for him, but right now he gained 20 pounds and feels fatigue and back pain. We would like to tap-off Ambility to 7.5 mg then 7 mg, then 6.5 mg...then no more Amlify if it works well for us. Did you see any patient tap-off Ambilify liked that?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I would advise you to see the psychiatrist and do not alter the dose of medicine because weight gain may not be due to this, more clinical condition for one disease goes on vary from patient to patient and it is not the criteria for adjusting the dose hope this information helps.
