What Is The Way To Be Free From Methadone Maintenance?
Im currently on methadone maintenance and want to be free of it. I cant find a doctor outside of the typical methadone clinics in my area that can help me. Im driving 2 hours every morning before work and its burning me out. Half way through the work week Im done. Iam 49 years old and this all is really taking a toll on me. I live in Northern Va.

Methadone will help u maintain the abstinence. If u want to stay free of it, first u have to motivate urself that u would not take opioid. To stop the methadone u have to gradually decrease the dose and trying to decrease in span of months rather than days. That would give u better response.
