What Is The Use Of Gestofit 200mg Tablet?

Hi Doctor, I undergone for follicular scan and on the 14th day of my cycle ..doctor told my egg is ruptured and i can have sex . and prescribed Gestofit 200 mg tablet for 28 days. I do not understand whats the us of this tablet.. is it affect my cycle.. since this time i cannot intimate with my husband.. so if i taking this table it affect my next month cycle.. Please reply

Gestofit 200 contains dydrogesterone, which is a kind of hormone called progesterone. It helps in maintaining integrity of the endometrial lining, thus helping implantation in case fertilization takes place. It prevents
habitual or recurrent abortion.
Since you can time during this cycle, it would be better not to take the drug during this period.
You need to undergo the same process again during the next cycle.
