What Is The Treatment To Remove Dark Spots On Face ?

Hi Doc I ve been applying lemon on my dark spots but I think the dark spots are burning because instead of lightening it is becoming darker and darker. Another problem I have is my pimple become an open wound because of applying lemon also, now I ve been putting a triple antibacterial ointment on it because they say it heals and peels of top layer of skin. Am I doing right?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain in case if you have dark spots on face you should not use any remedy without proper consultation with an expert as the effects can be harmful rather than helpful..
I would suggest you to stop using any remedy..
You should wash your face with Salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing facewash..
Apply creams containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin over the dark spots..
You can also apply Vitamin E gel or oil..
You can apply a combination of Clindamycin and Benzoyl peroxide gel over the pimple.
Do cool compresses over the pimple..
Once the pimple heals start exfoliating your skin with a gentle scrub..
Limit sun exposure and always apply sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
Drink plenty of water and take a nutritious diet..
You can also go for treatments like Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling..
