doctor,my husband is at 33 yrs now his serum triglycerides level is 296.60 mg/dl.he is a tetotaller .is there anything really to worry abot it.what are the ways to reduce the cholestrol level.pls write in detail.about what care should be taken and is medication compulsory?

Hi,

It can be harmful for heart health

To reduce cholesterol drink 12-14 glasses of water every day.
Take 1 tsp flax seeds first thing in the morning
drink 2 Glass warm water as soon as get up
Use mustard oil/ virgin olive oil for cooking
Take whole wheat aata
use oats in form of poha/ upma/ cheela/ in roties too
Avoid ready to eat and processed food items
