Sir I am suffering with breathing problem during stairs since last two year Now I am facing problem during walking also Two year ago diagnosed in PGI Chandigarh Sarcodosis medicine given wysolon . I was perfectly OK during medicine but after six month doctor told me wysolon may effect kidney and lever then I decide to stopped medicine (wysolon started with 60mg and stopped at 5mg) As I told my problem above and case history Is there any treatment without side effect Thanking you And waiting for your best advise Charan Singh
Thanks for your question on HCM. Sarcoidosis is chronic disease affecting lung. It is having on-off course. You need to get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test ) and CT THORAX regularly at the interval of 6 months to know the course of the disease. And tapering steroids is the only treatment available. So at present you should first consult pulmonologist and get done PFT and CT THORAX. If worsening ot disease is present (possibility of this is more) than you may need steroids again. So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
