What Is The Treatment Of Polyp In Bowel And Bumps Around Vagina?

My mother in law is 91 years old, she was diagnosed a couple of years ago with a polyp in her bowel which could not be removed without surgery. Due to her age and general health this was ruled out. She is now bed-bound and incontinent. I noticed when changing her that she has a number of small lumps on and around her labia and vulva, one of which appeared to puss. Can you give me any idea what could be causing this condition?

Greetings of the day

Possibility of folliculitis is to be considered, its the infection of hair follicle.

Following will help in the management
1. Hot Seitz bath
2. Local application of Mupirocin Ointment
3. 5 day course of Co-amoxiclav will be helpful
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life
