What Is The Treatment For Water Blisters Around Ankles?
hello: i have small water blisters around both ankles and on the back of my hands and a couple of spots on my arm, but when they go down and burst they leave white pits that take 4 to 5 days to close up? i also this happened just before i run across some poison ivy cleaning some brush in the back yard. Also i scratched the poison ivy and it left a scar, will the scar go away?
Hi. As per your case history you are having insect bite dermatitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Wear full sleeve clothes to avoid further such episodes. 4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 5. Scars will fade away on its own. No need of treatment for that.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
