What Is The Treatment For Viral Infection Diarrhea And Nausea?

Hello! I am very concerned about a virus going around and I do not know what to do. I was first strickened with this virus which symptoms were nausea and diarrhea. My Grandson who is 8 months old got it, his mother and now his father. I am trying to take care of them on my own but it is very difficult. My Grandson is better but is still not himself. My son came home tonight vomiting with diarrhea. Please help!

Thanks for your query on HCM.
Probably you have some common point source that is the food poisoning and to be frank no specific treatment is there for viral gastroenteritis for which conservative management is all what you require like prevention and treatment of dehydration and management of vomiting and diarrhoea. For vomiting you can take domperidone 10 mg tablet twice daily and to treat secretory diarrhoea you may consume AD 100 tablet thrice daily. Maintain proper food hygiene and dont take food from outside stall. For the 8 month old baby you may go for rotavirus vaccination.
