i have constant UTI S, also blisters and bleeders on my bladder. Been taking trimethoprim 100 mg since November until my next scope in March. My urine over the last two weeks has a horrible chemical smell and was the color of apple juice. I have had a 100.8 temp. all weekend, pain in bladder area and uncomfortable to bend over. Today my temp. is back to 96 my normal, no ordor, some dizziness and my urine twice today as the color of coke cola. Tonight it is very light and no order but depending on how I sit or how long I stand I have some discomfort. I am to start taking Levofloxacin 250 tonight for 7 days . I never thought to ask if I should stop the Trimethoprim which I did today but will call my doctor in the morning to check. I was told if bleeders and blisters are still there when I have the scope done I will have to go in the hospital. I have had a stabbing pain in that area that immediately makes me have a bowel movement and then I throw up. This started 4 years ago after H. Hernia surgery and happens every couple of weeks. I do not know and so the doctors also have agreed if its a GI problem and I am going for Colonoscopy in Feb.. I wonder if its my bladder or intestines or something else. I also have GYNO appointment tomorrow. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. Thank you, Nancy
