What Is The Treatment For Tonsillitis And Swollen Lymph Nodes?

Hello, I'm 20 years old. I was diagnosed with tonsillitis last Tuesday (Nov 29th- 2011) at the er. The doctor put me on tylenol and antibiotics. I am still experiencing pain in my right tonsil every morning. It's hard to swollen, it's hard to eat, drink, and my lymph node is very swollen. Sometimes its hard for me to turn my neck. Could this be a sign for me to get my tonsils out? The pain is becoming unbareable.
