What Is The Treatment For Throat Irritation?
Hi doctor! I was on herbalife diet and I foresee some changes on my thyroid. The swell reduced. I've stopped a while due to my pregnancy. During pregnancy I realize a growth of small lump on lower section of thyroid. I've started back to herbalife to reduced my body weight but each time when I consume water, I felt my throat irritate. I have been effected by tonsil issue as well recently. Pls advise. Thank you.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have throat irritation which is because of infection travel down the respiratory track and affected whole area an leads to tonsillitis/ granular pharyngitis and sinusitis. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis. You should put xylomist nasal drops to prevent congestion. You should take chicken soup along with along with lemon tea. I would suggest you to again consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. He/she may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. Take combination of amoxicillin along with Levocetrizine. Take diet rich in vitamin C. Take decongestant nasal sprays containing mucinex for instant relief.
