What Is The Treatment For This MRI Report Of Spine?

An MRI report statesI have bulging discs at multiple levels, annular tears L4-5 and L5-S1 of intervertebral discs, multiple levels of disc degeneration, mild multilevel lumbar spondylosis, facet joint arthrosis at multiple levels, with facet joint arthropathy at L4-5....is surgery likely to relieve my pain which I have experienced since 2007?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Surgery helps more when you have no bone degenration and not so multiple problems with almost whole of the spine.

But annular ligamental tear and disc bulging, I think will respond well to surgery if properly handled by a seasoned Neurosurgeon. It will cause your pain, misery and disability to decrease many folds and rest of the conditions of degerative age related changes will be handled over time with medications.

I pray for a good health and good prognosis for the surgery if you arw thinking on these lines. Keep a follow-up with me how it goes!

Hope I answered all of your health concerns . If you have further questions in future, feel free to contact me anytime. In the start of your question write my name, and I will get back to you in no time. If satisfied, please click you found it helpful.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
