What Is The Treatment For The Hydrocele And Phimosis In A 2 Year Old?

Hi sir, my 2 years old baby boy is suffering both right hydrocele & phimosis. and then left side is likely to be noticed reduicible inguinal incomplete hernia( but my doctor can't say 100% hernia). Cord thickness present on left side. What should I do?

HI...there are different suggestions for phimosis and hydrocele...

1. For Phimosis - I suggest you ask your doctor whether this can be relieved by a steroid ointment applied at the glans penis with pressure from top to bottom. 95% of the times it will get relieved by this itself.

2. For suspected Hernia - I suggest you get an ultrasound abdomen done and confirm the diagnosis and go ahead with further management.
