What Is The Treatment For Stye On Eye?

Hello,
Is there a way to clear up styes that do not respond to either topical chloramphenicol cream (Chlorsig 1%) or ingested antibiotic (cannot remember the name of this)? I have had a stye for approx one year and others that have come and gone.

Are styes known to be related to factors such as stress, lack of sleep, nutritional deficiency etc?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having recurrent stye and a stye for a long time.
Recurrent stye are because of stress, poor nutrition, poor infection, uncorrected refractive errors, uncontrolled diabetes, poor immunity...
The treatment of long standing swelling related to stye is by surgical incision.
The recurrent stye can be prevented by treatment of the underlying predisposing cause as mentioned above.

Thank you
