What Is The Treatment For Stomach Pain Caused Due To Gastroenteritis?

I have severe stomach pain, have ended up in emergency twice with tests done each time, they say I have gastroentriris but the meds I am taking does not seem to help and I cry with pain. What else can I do or take to help relieve the pain. Sorry I will not continue as I am senior with limited income and cannot afford the extra, will wait now and suffer the pain until I am able to see my own doc. in 2 weeks. thanks for your trouble.

Agreed with your problem of being a senior with limited income. But still you should not suffer.
The best treatment for gastroenteritis is simple antibiotics and supportive medicines. I hope you have no other medical problems. Complete the course of antibiotics and supportive treatment as may be suggested by the Meds.
ID the antibiotic course is not helping , it is possible that you are suffering from something else , for which you may have to go for tests of blood , stool and urine with minimum of a sonography.
