What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat And Swollen Lymph Nodes?

Hello! I am concerned about a sore throat that I have been experiencing off and on for about the past three weeks. Sometimes it hurts extremely bad and sometimes it is just a slight discomfort. It usually doesn t last for more than an hour at a time. I am wondering if I should see my Dr. or if it could possibly be allergies. I have also noticed that the left side of my neck is tender and the lymph nodes are slightly swollen. Thank you for your time!

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
the sore throat can be because of the bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole (if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
