What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat And Ear Infection?
I have had a sore throat, ear infections, lumps or knots on the back of my neck(external) and little nodules or bumps on the very back of my throat (internal). When I cough or try to hack up snot I cant get it to come out unless i hold my fingers over my ears then it comes up perfectly fine. Sometimes my throat will close up and it hurts all the way to my chest and ill have these red bumps on my throat

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat and ear infection which can occur due to bacterial as well as viral infection and there is other factor also that is acid reflux , which also give such symptoms. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist if not getting relief with present medicine for proper diagnosis like swab test and viral culture test . Doctor may order stronger antibiotics , antiviral ( acyclovir ) along with decongestant and expectorant . For now do betadine and warm saline gargles and apply dry hot compresses to external ear. Avoid taking cold carbonated beverages and avoid taking oily, fried and spicy food.
