What Is The Treatment For Severe Swelling And Pain In Knee?
Fell on hardwood floor a week ago. Went down on right knee. I have a high tolerance for pain and it hurt to the point of tears. Swelled a small amount. Never hurt to walk out bend. Small bruise. Now it feels like someone has set fire under my skin if the area is pressed on. What could this be?

Fall on the knee must be completely evaluated by imaging and clinical examination. There might be little bleeding or ligamentous and meniscal injury to your knee. Less likely but there can be a fracture which is non displaced. Also you may try to take rest, ice pack, compression and elevation of limb.
