At the end of May I came home from a long car trip and went to bed. I thought I was tossing and turning because my muscles were hurting so bad from a workout from a few days previous to my trip. If my body was hurting due to a sickness I wouldn t have been able to tell the difference. I couldn t sleep so I got out of bed but did not make it very far and had to sit down on the floor. I was helped to the restroom, where I had diarrhea and vomited. This reminded me of food poisoning. However no one else I had traveled with on my trip to Dallas five hours away had it. For some reason I can t remember if I went to the doctor, but I m sure I did I always go. I remember being queasy and sick for a week off and on. Until it finally completely went away. This was at the end of May I believe. It is now August 23. I m not sure how long diarrhea lingered on, but I do know that I have had it for the most part since July 12. July 12 I had a strep throat test and I had strep throat. My ears were slightly sensitive like a very light earache. I was given a Z pack that I took and I thought I got better for a very short time. I finished the Z pack as I was going on a short trip to Arkansas in the mountains. My ears also became clogged there due to higher elevations, and I also drank a tiny bottle of spring water from the National Park Service office.( which I hear later may not have been a good idea?) I am mentioning this because I am not sure if my illness the first time and also going into the mountains and drinking Springwater, has anything to do with any associated earaches diarrhea or my sickness now. The latest thing would be July 12th strep throat-I felt better for a bit but I guess the the z pack didn t work. They always have for me. My swollen uvula came back shortly and my light earaches did as well. 3 weeks later I had to go to my local Dr. He gave me Omnicef for my soar throat and swollen uvula- It went away shortly and came back. 3rd trip to the Dr.... Mine was out of town, so the new Dr. Said she wanted to give a steroid pill and it may make me edgy, I was to afraid to take it, I get anxiety here and there. She referred me to an ENT that I m waiting to get into..... My throat stopped hurting.... Not for long! Today,August 23rd, It s swollen the worse it has been out of all the times and I m actually having to eat soup now, and talk less. On a scale of 1-10, it was a 7 today. I can breathe and I feel fine, except the painful soar throat and swollen uvula. I Barely got out some mucus earlier, and I think it was yellowish green...? I have had diarrhea less and less but it is still not regular. This has also caused an unfortunate hemrhoid that won t go away due to the diarrhea despite how many times I put the over the counter medicine on it. Ice never had an antibiotic not work on something that seems so common. I know I ve had a soar throat before and haven t been able to eat... Why won t this go away despite the fact that I ve had 2 antibiotics. I m going on my 4 th trip to the Dr. as soon as I can get in!
