What Is The Treatment For Severe Back Pain?

my father is 83 years old and he was having pains in the lower back region since last so many decades. now that he has undergone oil therapy and also consumed many alopathic medecines. but the pain persists. X-ray has bee taken and orthopedician has informed that there is spondalities in the region and advised to take a costlier injection. Can you Sir, please give the latest treatments for the ailment ?

I really appreciate your concern for your father if this is degenerative disease of the spine then such pain would be very likely some time this could be surgical condition and this need to be treated accordingly, if the NSAID is not giving much relief so opioid can be tried but prior to initiate this patine need to be qualified for this, looking to age of your father there could be some functional elements that might be responsible for chronic pain, take care, have a nice day.
