Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good afternoon I am concerned with a persistant red rash on my left leg it does not go away. Also at night while I am asleep I wake up due to pain all over my body similar when you a get a cold and I can t go back to sleep anymore. I am 48 years old and I have a 10 yrs old daughter I am looking forward to see her growth for many years to come I definately do not need to be sick I am too young to be in pain.
hi, sorry for your trouble. a better description of the size, borders, itchy or not and texture of the rash or a picture of the rash would have helped us. However, the possibilities include a mole, discoid rash, psoriatic patch and dermatitis. A dermatologist consultation will help in diagnosis. whether the symptoms of pain is related to rash or not can not be told with certainity unless investigated. in any case, a non growing rash is unlikely to make you sick, and i can assure you that you have no reason to worry. all the best.
