i have a 6 year old son who has been operated for mckels diverticulam in aug-2009 and excercised 28cms of the intestine and done circumcision also done a week after the surgery.

last week he was having cold,cough and severe sore throat with low degree fever and given cepodem 100 mg twice a day for 5 days. after 3 days no fever but cough is still there and gave the test for CBC and urine routine, it reveals that hb 13.6,N-73,P-24,E-2 &M-1, platelet count is 2.2 lakhs,CRP is negative,thyphoid and malaria negative but the urine routine says albumin trace,15-20 pus cells,rbc 3-4, bacteria seen, no bile salts or cryatals. we have the habit of relating everything with mckels and become very anxious parents. another thing is just before mckels the kidney size was 7.4cms(aug 2009) and 6.7cms & 6.5 cms(feb 2011). is ther a corelation and we are planning to get the abdomen scan done to check the size of the kidney and blood culture 1st report by this evening and final on 16th jul..Are we on the right diagnosis? what could be the problem? pls guide us.
