What Is The Treatment For Problem In Achieving An Orgasm?

Hi, I'm female, 20 years old, in a year long relationship and am now living with my boyfriend. I have recently been put on penicillin for my tooth, but only a few days ago and I take Ovranette birth control pills which I have been taking for over a year now. I have noticed the past 5 or 6 times I have had sex, I can not orgasm no matter how much stimulation . This is very unusual for me, I've never had a problem achieving orgasm and I'm really worried.

My granddad (who i'm very close to) has cancer, but we've had the good news that he's nearly all clear! My family isn't getting on too good right now - and that worries me - but I know that situation will change with time. I've read about Female Orgasmic Disorder, which can occur after stress, and your orgasms may never come back. Is this true? Should I book an appointment with my GP?

Thanks and Regards,
D

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my suggestions to achieve orgasm:

1) You must involve in lots of foreplay to arouse yourself in top level and it helps to increase vaginal lubrication before penetration.

You can use ESTROGEN cream around vaginal region at bed time for proper functioning of bartholin gland and more lubrication.

2) You would be in more relaxed state and both of you will create a romantic environment so that you can focus and enjoy your sex. You must avoid mental stress or emotional upset.

3) You must use water-based lube (like KY gel or VAGISIL etc) inside vagina for easier penetration. Pelvic or vaginal infection should be properly treated.

4) It's important that you must communicate what feels good and what doesn't. You can let him know what you need by saying like a little slower or harder or just like that and so on.

5) Also, you can try a woman-on-top position, which will put you in control of the depth and rhythm. Once you get used to the ins and outs of sex, it should be a lot more comfortable and fun. It will be easy to get orgasm.

In spite of above procedure, if problem persists, you must consult with sexologist for treatment of organic disorder.
