What Is The Treatment For Post Partum Depression?

hello Doctor..
My mother is 45 years old..
She has gone through after delivery depression..i think it is called as postpartum at the time of my birth..
Before 6 years.. She was behaving more aggressive than normal people..from that time we have started treatment..
before 1 year the same thing happend..
She is not going out anyware..
lack of interest in all things..
she feels irritable of small things..
works/walks too slow..not happy
lack of activeness and confidence.
Due to dat medicines.. she sleeps more..
What care i should have to take to make her active and happy again..?

I think, you have underline depression. In that case, you need proper treatment of antidepressant. With antidepressant, you would feel better and that your depressive symptoms would decrease. I would suggest you escitalopram or fluoxetine, but for that you have to consult a psychiatrist as these drugs are not available over the counter.
