hello Doctor.. My mother is 45 years old.. She has gone through after delivery depression..i think it is called as postpartum at the time of my birth.. Before 6 years.. She was behaving more aggressive than normal people..from that time we have started treatment.. before 1 year the same thing happend.. She is not going out anyware.. lack of interest in all things.. she feels irritable of small things.. works/walks too slow..not happy lack of activeness and confidence. Due to dat medicines.. she sleeps more.. What care i should have to take to make her active and happy again..?
I think, you have underline depression. In that case, you need proper treatment of antidepressant. With antidepressant, you would feel better and that your depressive symptoms would decrease. I would suggest you escitalopram or fluoxetine, but for that you have to consult a psychiatrist as these drugs are not available over the counter.
Thanks
