Doctor proscribed albenza 200mg tablets to my 2 year old after having discovered she has pinworms. There is 2 200mg in pill form. She is to take 2 pills and follow up with two more pills for another dosage 2 weeks later to completely rid the infection. How can i give her her dosage if she cant swallow pills. Can i crush them and put it in apple juice, kool aid, milk? Does it have to be water? I cant have her chew them not knowing the taste, she refuses other medication and i want to make sure she takes it as directed and correct to her best benefit. Can they be taken on an empty stomack?
