What Is The Treatment For Painful Blister Under The Toe In A Diabetic?

I have a painful blister on the underside of my big toe which started with a new pair of slippers rubbing - however I haven't worn the slippers since but the blister which is quite painful (but not red) when I touch it does not seem to be improving after 3 days - in fact it is becoming more painful to touch. I have had well controlled type 2 diabetes for about 15 years.
What is the best treatment please

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Any infection in diabetes patients should be given more attention and particularly of foot infection.
So consult your doctor and go for one antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course.
Ok and take care.
