What Is The Treatment For Pain In The Ribs?

Large, (width and height of two medium hands spread out), black( or darkest of darkest shade of purple) on left side of abdomen with burning sensation (like the tricke of hot water) in lower abdomen. Also ribs hurt to the point of breathing (coughing, laughing, sneezing) hurts, lifting or moving arm hurts ribs and rising from a laying position hurts ribs (almost anything but standing motionless hurts ribs)... Yet there is no bruise on site of most intense rib pain. All this after trauma/assault.

I completely understand your question
yours is a medicolegal case .
it seems like you have multiple injuries on your abdomen and thorax.
you should visit an emergency department of any hospital to evaluate the nature of injuries. actually it seems like you have a contusion on abdomen and rib fractures .you should visit an emergency and get a chest xray done and some more investigations like usg whole abdomen to evaualte for some more severe intra abdominal injury to any visceral organ like spleen which is common in assault cases. chest xray will tell any rib fracture or any other injury in chest.
all these investigations will be done by a emergency specialist, and he will prescribe you some anagesics like diclofenac which will lower the pain.
