What Is The Treatment For Pain In Ovaries, Delayed Period And Tingling Breasts After Tubal Ligation?
I recently had a tubal ligation. my Dr said it was permanent,10 months ago to be exact.I'm currently 10 days late for my Period. I took the test at 5 to 6 days of being late. It was negative. My boobs tingle just like when they produce milk. There's no cramping just every once in awhile there's a pain in one or both ovaries. I cannot afford health insurance so I do not have any. Can you give me any advice I'm with it maybe or what I need to Do?
I would wait some more time and see if you are just having a late period. Sometimes your hormones can be out of balance and you can have thee symptoms but it all just resolves on its own in a weeks or so. So wait and see if your period returns. If it doesn't come in another week or two, take another pregnancy test. Although it is extremely rare to get pregnant after your tubes are tied, it is not completely impossible. If it is positive, call your doctor right away to make sure you don't have a tubal pregnancy. If it is negative, and you don't; have your period for a few more weeks, you might want to ask your doctor to check for other hormonal problems such as thyroid problems or prolactin problems. These issues are relatively common and they can cause delayed periods, breast symptoms and other symptoms that you describe, and they are easily diagnosed with a blood test and usually easy to treat once a diagnosis is made. Good luck!
