Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain Leukoplakia occurs in the form of white patches over the oral mucosas like inner cheeks, lips, side of tongue etc..
In case if biopsy is suggestive of Leukoplakia I would suggest you to first of suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation should be done..
The first thing that you will have to do is to withdraw the habit that is causing the problem like if it is due to tobacco chewing or wearing dentures etc that causes chronic irritation..
Avoidance in this case if the first beginning of treatment..
You will also be advised to take Beta-carotenes that are Vitamin -A precursors, anti-oxidant like Lycopene and application of steroid ointment over the lesion if there is pain..
In case if it shown no signs of improvement then you can go for surgery..
Recurrence can occur if your soure of irritation re-occurs and is not removed..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
