What Is The Treatment For Lump On Both Sides Of The Spine?

Hello Doctor, I have a golf ball size lump at both sides of my spine just below the last spare rib. I have an almost constant severe ache at each side of the sacrum. I am having difficulty walking erectly and end up bent forward at around 20 degrees from vertical, if I sit down for a short while I find I can walk upright for a little while before I start to bend again. I cannot consciously prevent this. Thank you from Susan

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello Susan!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be related to an infection or a spine disorder (including cysts).
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and performing a spine MRI in this region. The MRI is the best test to examine the soft tissues, beside the spine.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
