I know I have chronic lower back pain. It's in the lower center of back my. I have had numerous injections and nerve blocks, nothing works. I cannot stand longer than 5 or 10 minutes without going into a terrible sweat and the chronic pain starts. When I sit the pain goes away, however, I still have a numbing, throbbing pain that stays with me continually sitting. I was referred to a Rheumatologist who told me my SED level was 79, he put me on meds that did not touch the pain and I'm even more miserable than I've ever been in my life. The Rheumatologist has changed my meds at least 3 times and I still am getting no relief. HELP. Have I been diagnosed wrong. What is wrong with me. This pain came over a period of time and has gradually has increased. Did I mention I have a small disc, but every doctor seems to think that the source of my back pain could not be related to that tiny disc. What should I do. I need relief. I want to walk without being in pain and I'm young with a child.
