What Is The Treatment For Jaw Pain And Diabetes?

Hello. I am 60 yrs of age. I have been diagnosed as type 2 diabetic for last 22 years. However my sugar in the morning or after breakfast fluctuates. I have been feeling dizzy last several weeks and hence monitored my sugar for 1 week. In last month I have affected in heart attack. I take wosulin-r three times per day and lantus at night. lantus insulin glargine is suitable for me not? kindly advice me side effects of lantus. Please advice ... I am also experiencing radiating jaw pain, and light headed XXXXXXX (dizziness) for several weeks now

Lantus insulin is glargine which is a long acting insulin that means it acts for roughly around 24 hours..It is a very good insulin and gives good blood sugar control..risk of hypoglycemia is very less with Lantus .Jaw pain can be due to different reasons.Heart related problems can manifest as jaw pain,even gastritis can cause similar symptom.But you have additional complaints like dizziness.Please consult your doctor ask his opinionz.If the pain is relieved with sublingual nitrates then the pain is due to cardiac problem.Check your blood pressure also ...
