Hello this morning I woke up with my left eye itching rubbed it to later notice the left corner slightly red and with a white jelly substance in the left corner of my eye. Should I be worried I have a history of dry eyes and both optic nerves being swollen.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having itching, discharge, redness,,, of the eye. This indicates infection or allergy of the the eyes in the form of infective conjunctivitis or allergic conjunctivitis. The treatment of the condition is by use of antibiotic eye drops, decongestant eye drops and anti-allergic eye drops depending on the underlying cause. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and prescription of drugs accordingly.
Thank you
