What Is The Treatment For Injury On Foot That Has Caused Bruising And Swelling?

Noticed yesterday what felt like I needed to crack my second toe next to my big toe on my left foot. Now today it is red, swollen at the "knuckle" of the middle of the toe. Did not have any injury to the foot, now the reddish blue bruising and swelling is worse tonight seem to be going down into my foot. Most pain seems all on top of foot rather than the bottom. Cannot bed the toe either.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The fracture part of toe needs to be ruled out and for this x-ray study is must mean while you can take the "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg twice in day, keep your leg in elevated position, if x-ray detects the fracture then you have to see the orthopedic surgeon, hope this information helps you, have good time.
