What Is The Treatment For High Uric Acid Levels In Urine?

I have been taking Zyloric tablet 100 mg per day. While taking the medicine the uric acid level comes to the normal. My doctor advised me after 6 months, you can discontinue. After 6 months i discontined the medicine and got the blood test after 3 months of dicontinuation of medicine. It is observed that the uric acid level has again gone up to 7.8. Do I need to take the medicine everyday or there is any other solution. I have controlled by diet wherein high protein is avoided to maximum extent. Pl suggest.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have gout. Your uric acid level is increased after discontinuation of zyloric tablet. You should again start allopurinol (zyloric) tablet. And avoid high protein diet. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
